Household of Faith was born out of a Bible Study in 1992. Founded by Pastors Pat and Lynn Murphy, the small group of just 11 people launched out into what has become a testimony to the faithfulness of God. Having served in various ministries and in a wide variety of settings, Pastor Pat had insight that transcends denominational stereotypes and artificial religious boundaries. As a result, Household of Faith is not your "run of the mill" church.
With a dedication to being relevant to this generation as well as reaching those who are unchurched, Household of Faith is built upon relationship. Marked by the strength of small group ministry, our church has seen the welcoming and growth of many new believers from diverse backgrounds. Here there are no barriers of race, social status, or previous religious affiliation. Everyone is welcome in what is seen as a "come as you are" environment.
Household of Faith is a Word of Faith Church affiliated with AFCM International and is an associate of the Wave Network of Churches and Ministries.
In February of 2008, after 16 years, Pastors Pat and Lynn Murphy turned leadership of Household of Faith over to Pastors Rick and Sandy Hall. Pastors Rick and Sandy have been part of Household of Faith since 1998 and have been actively involved in pastoral ministry since 2000. Under their leadership and vision Household of Faith has continued to grow strong and is a strong influence in Bedford County.
Here at Household of Faith we have discovered that being a Christian is not only fun and exciting, it is fulfilling and rewarding. We seek to carry that discovery over into every service. Using a contemporary worship style and a strong emphasis on basic Bible teaching, we are building a church that is a force to be reckoned with in Bedford County. We seek to make this the "port of Heaven" where people can easily touch the heart of God and have their hearts touched by Him.
Household of Faith is strategically located within two hours of four major metropolitan areas representing over six million people. With Everett as our hub, we are reaching out to these people and seeking to partner with other churches to bring the message and power of the Gospel to those who have yet to hear.
Our future is bright and we look forward to the day when we can say that God's will dominates the landscape of our county.
